This extraordinary event seamlessly combines a festival and conference, offering a unique celebration of music, culture, and business. As the largest club-based festival and conference for electronic music in the world, ADE has grown into a pivotal gathering that attracts industry professionals, artists, and music enthusiasts from across the globe.
Today, Amsterdam Dance Event has excitingly announced new audiovisual and musical performances as part of the ADE Pro Conference program, expanding the conference’s immersive experience. One of the highlighted additions is a captivating masterclass and audiovisual showcase by London-based producer Max Cooper. Additionally, an exclusive edition of the Secret Artists in Residence concept will feature a collaborative jam session at ADE Pro’s home base, Felix Meritis.
Immersive Experiences at Felix Meritis Following the recent announcement of Claptone’s participation in Amsterdam Dance Event’s conference to host a unique experience, Max Cooper has now joined the ADE Pro programming. In an in-depth masterclass and audiovisual performance, Cooper will take the audience on an immersive journey exploring the convergence of music, science, and art.
Secret Artists in Residence After its successful premieres at Best Kept Secret Festival last year and ADE Festival in 2022, ‘Secret Artists in Residence’ is set to host an exclusive event for ADE Pro visitors this year. In a temporary music studio built at Felix Meritis, this concept provides a platform for extraordinary artistic collaborations and live jam sessions, featuring renowned artists such as Steve Rachmad, Alberta Balsam, Mathew Jonson, Sarah Neutkens, and more.
ADE Pro Conference The conference has now confirmed its initial lineup of topics and themes for this year’s event. It will delve into the strategies, opportunities, and responsibilities that shape the global electronic music industry. The program will actively explore crucial strategic challenges, including organizing large-scale events in an increasingly uncertain market, harnessing the potential of machine learning for music professionals, securing music placements in popular movies and series on major video streaming platforms, and exploring other pertinent subjects.
The latest confirmations include the participation of events collective HE.SHE.THEY. and the William Morris Endeavor Agency (WME) in promoting inclusivity in electronic music. Represented by co-founders Steven Braines and Sophia Kearney, along with WME agents Bailey Greenwood and Fernando Montes, HE.SHE.THEY. will actively discuss effective strategies for diversity and inclusion, fostering equality and fairness within the system. Additionally, Selina Chowdhury, Warner Music’s Head of Marketing for Emerging Markets, will join ADE Pro to share insights on launching Warner Music’s new Emerging Markets dance label and more.
