ARC Music Festival has lifted the veil on its full 2023 line-up, delighting fans with its captivating ‘After Dark’ series of pre-parties and afterparties.
Taking place over Labor Day Weekend from September 1 to 3, the Chicago-based house and techno extravaganza will be held at Union Park, featuring an impressive roster of artists like Eric Prydz, Derrick Carter, DJ Minx, Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping, Moodymann, Black Coffee, Dixon, and many more across four incredible stages. The festival promises an extraordinary production and a star-studded lineup that is set to mesmerize attendees.
Complementing the daytime festivities, an array of night-time parties have been unveiled, beginning with several pre-parties kicking off on Thursday, August 31.
As the weekend unfolds, a myriad of afterparties will light up the nights from September 1 to 4, hosted at some of Chicago’s finest clubs. From RADIUS, Cermak Hall, Concord Music Hall, PRYSM, Spybar, to Smartbar/Metro, Smoke & Mirrors, and even an exhilarating boat party on the Anita Dee II Yacht, the city will be buzzing with vibrant music and electric energy.
Thursday’s kickoff will be nothing short of iconic, with DJ Heather, DJ Lady D, Biobooster AKA Hiroko Yamamura, and Dani Deahl taking the stage at Smoke & Mirrors for a captivating Lady Of The House and Beatport takeover. Meanwhile, Prysm will host techno maestro Ben Klock and other esteemed artists like Walker & Royce, DJ Colette, and Samara b2b Sweater Disco for their mesmerizing Rules Don’t Apply takeover at Spybar.
On Friday, the afterparties will be in full swing, offering eight events scattered throughout the city. Highlights include Eric Prydz, Adam Beyer, Cristoph, and Hummingbird’s enthralling sets at the expansive Radius venue, while Smartbar will be graced by a special Boys Noize b2b VTSS performance with Mall Grab and Kettama on the Metro floor. Spybar will showcase Anfisa Letyago, Cassy, and DJ Minx, promising an unforgettable night.
Saturday’s offerings will feature an impressive lineup of Chicago and Detroit legends, including Carl Craig x Moodymann, DJ Pierre, Mike Dunn, and CZboogie at Metro, and The Blessed Madonna b2b Jaq Attaque and Ariel Zetina b2b Madeline at Smartbar. Other picks include Cermak Hall hosting Patrick Topping, Loco Dice, DJ Heather, and Ōsé, while Concord Music Hall will be grooving to Hot Since 82, Derrick Carter, Ben Rau, and Nicky B.
Sunday will see Prysm featuring South African royalty with Black Coffee and Themba at the helm, while Concord Music Hall will bring together Brazil’s Vintage Culture b2b Carlita and Turkey’s Kevin Knapp in The Listening Room.
For those who can’t bear to say goodbye to the weekend, two parties on Monday, September 4, are scheduled to wrap up the festivities in style. Prysm will host Wade, Inphinity, and Chris Diaz, while the Anita Dee II Yacht will witness a wavy Farris Wheel takeover led by Gene Farris, Eskuche, and Basura Boyz.
