Balaton, one of the largest and most extraordinary beach festivals in Europe, has just unveiled videos and images showcasing the exciting new developments at the Zamárdi open-air beach this year. Featuring a powerhouse lineup including Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Charlotte De Witte, Tiësto, Adam Beyer, and more, the festival has finalized its four-day program scheduled from June 28th to July 1st.
This year, the Heineken Balaton Sound Main Stage will undergo a significant transformation, with a stunning LED wall as its centerpiece for mesmerizing visuals. Standing at 10 meters tall and 60 meters wide, the stage structure will feature a 500m² panel consisting of 1,978 LEDs. Together with cutting-edge lighting technology, this setup promises an unforgettable experience, perfectly complementing performances by renowned artists such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and many others.

This year, a brand new venue, the Radio1 Heineken Silver Beach Club, will be introduced—a true beach club atmosphere with its own sun deck and comfortable lounge furniture. Radio1’s DJs will play sets starting from early afternoon until the main stage commences, then continue during breaks on the main stage and extend into the early hours of the morning. Early risers can join techno yoga classes and the Splash Party by night—a delightful evening swim in the lake following the main stage program.
Balaton Sound will be buzzing day and night, with a plethora of activities to keep everyone entertained. Additional exciting offerings include beach volleyball tournaments, a sunset SUP tour, a “Welcome to the House” dance workshop, international street theatre performances, a water amusement park, an outdoor gym, as well as a special kite flying and kite-making workshop.
Heineken Balaton Sound 2023 will grace the picturesque Lake Balaton in Hungary from June 28th to July 1st.
