Gatecrasher Makes a Triumphant Return to Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl this Summer

Gatecrasher, a prominent name from the UK’s superclub era, has revealed its plans for a massive daytime event at Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield on Sunday, September 3rd.

The highly anticipated Gatecrasher Classical event will be a key highlight of the three-day Rock N Roll Circus, an annual music showcase in the city. Following the successful format of previous concerts, a combination of resident DJs and artists closely associated with the iconic dance music institution will perform alongside classical musicians, delivering reimagined renditions of the progressive and euphoric trance anthems that defined the club’s legacy.

Tickets for this spectacular event will be available for purchase starting Friday, June 9th, at 10 AM.

The chosen venue holds special significance for Gatecrasher. On New Year’s Eve 1999-2000, Gatecrasher shifted the action to Don Valley Stadium for the unforgettable 2000GC event, attracting an impressive crowd of 25,000 attendees. The night was marked by awe-inspiring elements such as Tensile One, the world’s largest portable structure, and twin DJ booths linked by a suspended bridge 20 feet above the ground. Renowned artists like The Chemical Brothers, Sasha, and Paul Van Dyk were among the notable names on the lineup.

“We are immensely proud to bring back Gatecrasher for this exceptional, one-of-a-kind all-day extravaganza in its spiritual home of Sheffield,” stated a spokesperson for Rock N Roll Circus.

They added, “The legendary millennium party held here 23 years ago is still talked about today, and we couldn’t think of a better way to conclude our inaugural Rock N Roll Circus in Sheffield than with a phenomenal Gatecrasher party featuring the DJs who propelled the brand to international acclaim.”
