June saw the Hï Ibiza dancefloor hit dizzying new heights of energy as we launched four of our weekly residences to take us up to six days of the most exciting music on the planet every week.
Our much-talked-about Tuesday nights with The Martinez Brothers burst onto the scene with an opening party that featured UK grime legend Skepta while Spanish hero Paco Osuna invited Melanie Ribbe to fire the starting pistol on his Now Here residency in the Club Room. The Bros went B2B with Ibiza institution Loco Dice the following week and invited Chris Stussy for a blistering solo set to close out the month.
Global superstars FISHER and Vintage Culture reunited for their midweek extravaganza, inviting an incredible roster of jaw-dropping artists bringing unmatched vibes, including Fatboy Slim, Joris Voorn, Andrea Oliva, Mathame, Paco Osuna and Agents of Time.
The journey began anew on Thursdays as the stunning visuals and transcendental soundscapes of Tale Of Us Present Afterlife returned to Hï Ibiza. Their paradigm-shifting opening party included appearances from preeminent electronic act RÜFUS DÜ SOL, Mind Against and Chris Avantgarde. Chapter 2 invited world-conquering trio Apollonia, Lost Souls of Saturn, Kobosil and Somewhen.
Black Coffee’s Saturday night celebration of Afropolitan sounds kicked up a gear this month, building on the momentum of May’s opening and inviting groundbreaking performances from Caiiro, WhoMadeWho, Layla Benitez, Goldclap and The Martinez Brothers.
Finally, Glitterbox’s 2023 residency continued their bombastic celebration of self-expression hosted life-affirming sets from Todd Terry, Horse Meat Disco, Basement Jaxx, Jayda G, The Shapeshifters, DJ Minx and Floorplan.
June may be coming to an end, but the summer of 2023 is just getting started. July will see the launch of Eric Prydz presents HOLO ïbiza on Monday nights, taking us up to seven days a week of programming. Look out for guest appearances from Seth Troxler, Mall Grab B2B Effy, Folamour and Roger Sanchez.
