Laurent Garnier canceled his scheduled summer performances due to health issues

French DJ Laurent Garnier has announced the cancellation of all his upcoming summer shows due to health concerns. The renowned house artist had been scheduled to perform at festivals such as Nuits Sonores, Sónar, Karrusel and more, with an upcoming album in May.

Garnier broke the news via Instagram, where he explained that “for health reasons” he had no choice but to cancel his events until the end of summer. He also stated that although it was unfortunate he won’t be able to share his new album on the dancefloor when it is released in May, he will be back “in force” once this is all over.

The DJ also revealed last month that after 2024 he would no longer be touring extensively as a performer but would remain a DJ for life – sharing music in one way or another.
