Martin Garrix Extends Formula 1 Partnership, Bringing Grand Prix DJ Sets to Fans

Martin Garrix has inked an extended partnership agreement with Formula 1 racing and Heineken, which will see him take the stage as a DJ at multiple Grand Prix circuits throughout the upcoming racing season. This exciting collaboration comes as a result of a renewed five-year sponsorship deal between Heineken and the prestigious racing series. Garrix, the renowned artist, will also join forces with the renowned brewing company as their new global ambassador, kickstarting the entertainment at the Canadian Grand Prix on June 18th.

The original partnership was established in 2016, but the renewed agreement aims to captivate the ever-growing fanbase of the sport through innovative means, promote responsible alcohol consumption, and provide world-class live entertainment, emphasizing that Formula 1 is more than just a race.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the collaboration, Martin Garrix stated, “I am thrilled to join forces with Heineken and celebrate at some of the most highly anticipated races of the season. The energy and atmosphere at the racetrack are unparalleled, and I am eagerly looking forward to performing for racing enthusiasts worldwide!”

Bram Westenbrink, the Global Head of the Heineken Brand, commented, “We are incredibly delighted to announce the extension of our longstanding partnership with Formula One… Combining this with the signing of the globally acclaimed DJ and producer Martin Garrix for some of the most significant races on the calendar allows us to create unforgettable moments throughout the race weekends.”

Martin Garrix is no stranger to performing at Formula 1 races, having surprised the audience with a DJ set at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2021 to commemorate the victory of his fellow Dutchman, Max Verstappen. Additionally, he enthralled the crowd at the official Yasalam after-race concert alongside DJ Snake. More recently, he graced the podium stage during the Mexico City Grand Prix, showcasing his talent to an eager audience.
