Pacha Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Solomun B2B Marco Carola

Ibiza’s iconic nightclub, Pacha, is set to commemorate its 50th anniversary with a spectacular day-to-night party headlined by a special Solomun B2B Marco Carola performance.

The milestone event will kick off at Destinos and continue throughout the day, culminating at Pacha itself. Joining the monumental B2B set will be the talented Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin, who also hold a regular residency at the nightclub.

Solomun, known for his wildly popular Ibiza residency, Solomun +1, has been a key figure in Pacha’s success. His unique concept of allowing partygoers to bring only one friend and positioning the DJ booth among the crowd has captivated audiences.

Marco Carola, a techno veteran with 30 years of experience, has made a name for himself with his signature three-deck mixing style, becoming an iconic feature of his sets.

Since its opening in 1973, Pacha has been a pioneer in the Ibiza club scene, introducing the concept of a modern superclub. Over the years, the club’s cherry logo has become a symbol synonymous with the island’s vibrant nightlife. Pacha has hosted an impressive lineup of influential DJs, including Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, and many others.

The club’s current residencies include Claptone’s elaborate Masquerade every Saturday, CamelPhat’s Tuesday events, and the flagship party Pure Pacha every Thursday with Robin Schulz.

Reflecting on the significance of Pacha, Simon Dunmore, the founder of Defected Records, says, “It was impossible to imagine the significance of my trip to Ibiza in 1988 when I first went to Pacha. The music was eclectic, enhanced by my first experience of partying under the stars until sunrise. Pacha felt like a glamorous, hedonistic house party, where beautiful and like-minded people came together. It was a secret theater, a beautiful escape.”
