Pioneer DJ has taken the wraps off its latest advancement in DJ technology – the DDJ-REV5 scratch controller.
Designed with the aim of enhancing open-format DJ performances, this two-channel controller boasts enlarged platters with a tactile vinyl-like texture. Its interface has been thoughtfully crafted to cater to the needs of turntablists and open format DJs, featuring elements such as Stems buttons, Auto BPM Transition, and extended tempo sliders above the decks. The DDJ-REV5 is compatible with both Serato DJ and rekordbox.
Priced at €1,099 including VAT / $1,099 excluding tax, the Pioneer DDJ-REV5 is now available for purchase. For more comprehensive information, interested parties can visit the official Pioneer DJ website.
The unveiling of the DDJ-REV5 follows Pioneer’s recent introduction of the revolutionary digital-analog hybrid turntable, the PLX-CRSS12. This turntable offers DJs the ability to control digital music via DJ software while still playing vinyl records.
Earlier in the year, Pioneer DJ also presented the DJM-A9, a cutting-edge 4-channel mixer, and the OPUS-QUAD, an all-in-one DJ system, showcasing their continuous commitment to pushing the boundaries of DJ technology.
