Audio manufacturer Reed has introduced the Muse 3A, a “Bauhaus style” turntable with innovative design elements. Crafted from birch plywood, the Muse 3A embodies the principles of the Bauhaus style, featuring an angular shape and offering three color options: carnelian red, white, and black.
The standout features of the Reed Muse 3A include its capability to accommodate two tonearms, its Coreless DC motor, and a unique traction system that can switch between a belt drive and friction drive. The turntable also boasts a digital control system indicator, providing crucial information such as the rotating speed of the platter and other operational details.
For those interested in owning the Muse 3A, the price tag is €15,000 (approximately £12,900). For more details, visit the Reed website.
In other turntable news, Linn recently launched the LP12-50 turntable, a £50,000 model celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary, designed by former Apple chief designer Sir Jony Ive.
Furthermore, Danish industrial designer CoolGeek introduced the VS-01, a new deck that allows users to play their vinyl vertically. Additionally, a Sonos-compatible turntable hit the market, following last year’s release of the slightly more expensive Stream Carbon model.
