The weekend at the Karren Maar Festival in the Netherlands witnessed an extraordinary achievement. Renowned techno artist Reinier Zonneveld made history by securing a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest electronic music live set ever performed, an impressive 11 hours and 11 minutes.

Zonneveld’s monumental set began at 12:49 PM and concluded precisely at midnight. Over this marathon session, the producer took the audience on a journey through his own musical evolution, revisiting tracks that have shaped his illustrious career.

The Karren Maar Festival, named after Zonneveld’s signature catchphrase, marked its inaugural edition this year. Additionally, the Filth On Acid record label curated its own stage, featuring stellar acts like Speedy J, Zeltak, Space 92, and Joyhauser.

Following this record-breaking performance, Reinier Zonneveld is poised to conclude the season with a highly anticipated album release in September. The album will include some of his most eagerly awaited tracks from the past years, including the lead single, ‘Music Is The Answer’.
