Rose Avenue Records Releases ‘Rose Avenue Compilation Vol. 1’ Celebrating RÜFÜS DU SOL’s 25th anniversary with tracks from label favorites and newcomers

Rose Avenue Records, affiliated with RÜFÜS DU SOL, has unveiled the “Rose Avenue Compilation Vol. 1,” featuring tracks from established label artists such as Modern Tales, Luke Alessi, Colyn, and Township Rebellion, as well as newcomers Enamour, Julya Karma, Bigfett, Arodes, HWIN, and Sainte Vie.

This compilation showcases a selection of original tracks that cater to various sonic palettes, exploring experimental structures and refined production. Vol. 1 demonstrates the breadth of talent that RÜFÜS DU SOL has inspired throughout their career.

The compilation opens with “Coming Back 4 You,” a poignant single from the sibling duo Modern Tales, taken from their recent debut album “Stars Align.” It then progresses through tracks like Arodes and Ø’s “Signs of Light,” offering iridescent house tones, and Luke Alessi’s “Aqua Stars,” which presents sultry builds. The compilation shines a light on the emotive dance sounds that have been a hallmark of Rose Avenue’s curation. From Colyn’s mesmerizing “Day 8” melodies to Township Rebellion, Victor Pilava, and Roemisch’s collaborative techno soundscape, “Fantasia on a Theme,” Vol. 1 celebrates the imaginative artistry found in Rose Avenue’s catalog.

Continuing its tradition of nurturing new talent, the compilation introduces the label’s latest signees. HWIN, formerly one-half of Cathedrals, debuts his new melodic techno project with “Metropolis Heights.” The compilation also features the dynamic rhythms of Enamour’s “Body Test” and Bigfett’s synth-heavy offering, “Continuum.” Other newcomers to Rose Avenue include Brooklyn’s dark-tech rising star, Julya Karma, with “Hypnotized,” and Mexico City-born beatsmith Sainte Vie with “Raindrops.”

Founded in 2018, Rose Avenue Records was established to foster creativity and support like-minded talent. Named after the Venice, CA house where the trio of founders wrote their Grammy-nominated album “SOLACE,” Rose Avenue has become a home for artists like Anyma, Cassian, Lastlings, Paraleven, and more. Since its inception, Rose Avenue has built a catalog of over 50 original tracks and remixes, earning a reputation as one of electronic music’s favorite tastemakers. This 10-track compilation serves as the debut release from the artist-run label.
