Ushuaïa Ibiza Reveals Winner of ANTS: NEXT GEN DJ Competition

Ushuaïa Ibiza proudly unveils the victorious duo of the ANTS: NEXT GEN DJ Competition: Us Two. Hailing from the West Midlands, this pair now secures the remarkable opportunity to grace Ushuaïa Ibiza’s iconic poolside stage. Their ANTS debut is scheduled for Saturday, September 9th, sharing the limelight with prominent artists such as Hot Since 82, Wade, Francisco Allendes, Yousef, and Miane.

Launched in collaboration with Beatport earlier this year in April, the ANTS: NEXT GEN DJ Competition presents an unparalleled chance for burgeoning DJ talent to elevate their careers. Us Two, the competition’s winners, will integrate into the ANTS family, a powerhouse in the underground electronic music scene, which is marking a decade of influence this summer.

Beyond the once-in-a-lifetime experience of performing at Ushuaïa Ibiza, the duo will benefit from expert guidance to foster their artistic growth, a production masterclass led by an ANTS resident DJ, and a selection of DJ essentials, courtesy of Beatport and Pioneer.

A distinguished panel of DJs and influential industry experts assessed over 1000 entries. The judging panel included ANTS residents Andrea Oliva, Chelina Manuhutu, SYREETA, Francisco Allendes, and Nic Fanciulli, along with Yann Pissenem (CEO & Founder of The Night League, Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, & ANTS), Leslee Clarke (Booking Manager, The Night League, Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza), and Itziar Gonzalez (ANTS Brand Manager).

Us Two expressed their excitement: “We’ve been going to Ushuaia Ibiza and ANTS for over 10 years, so for us to now be playing there is crazy. The party has had a huge influence on us and has helped create our sound, so we’re super excited for this next chapter with the colony!”.

ANTS resident and competition judge Andrea Oliva commented: “Huge congratulations to Us Two. I hope this is going to be a career-changing moment for the guys and I’m looking forward to watching them perform on the main stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza this summer.”
