The voting period for DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2023, in support of Unicef, is now underway. Fans can cast their votes until September 13, 2023, by visiting the provided link.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Top 100 DJs, which initially started in 1993 as a curated list of 100 DJs to commemorate the 100th edition of DJ Magazine. Over the years, the Top 100 DJs has evolved into the world’s largest publicly voted music poll, attracting 1.3 million votes annually.
The Top 100 DJs poll is fully open, with no nominations or entry criteria. Voters are encouraged to choose their top five DJs, regardless of their follower count, whether they have a small or large following.
Preparations are already underway for the Top 100 DJs Awards Show, scheduled for November. The event will reveal the poll results and will be accompanied by a feature-length documentary that explores the 30-year history of the Top 100 DJs and its reflection of the evolving music scenes.
In 2022, Martin Garrix secured the title of The World’s No. 1 DJ for the fourth time. The talented Dutch DJ and producer gained recognition at a young age with his breakthrough track “Animals” and previously topped the Top 100 DJs list in 2016, 2017, and 2018. He reclaimed the top spot from his mentor and friend, David Guetta, who held the No. 1 position for the two preceding years.
