The eagerly awaited Zürich Street Parade has unveiled its complete line-up for 2023, promising an electrifying celebration of techno and electronic music. The 30th edition of this iconic free event is set to captivate attendees on Saturday, 12th August, featuring an impressive roster of techno stalwarts.
Among the headlining acts are renowned artists such as Chris Liebing, Jimi Jules B2B Trikk, Deborah de Luca, Patrick Topping, Nicole Moudaber, Marcel Dettman, Skream, and Seth Troxler, among many others. With a star-studded array of talent, the parade is sure to deliver an unforgettable experience for electronic music enthusiasts.
The 2km-long parade boasts 30 mobile stages, also known as ‘Love Mobiles,’ and eight fixed stages along the route, including the Opéra stage, center stage, clubbing stage, and Swiss innovation stage. The event will dazzle attendees with mesmerizing laser shows as it commences at Zürich’s Utoquai public bath at 1 pm, winding its way through the city until midnight, concluding at the Enge pier. This year’s parade theme is “I Wish,” adding an extra touch of excitement and enchantment to the festivities.
As the largest techno parade in the world, the Zürich Street Parade traces its roots back to 1992 when it drew inspiration from the Berlin Love Parade. Over the years, it has become a renowned symbol of techno and electronic music culture, attracting music lovers from around the globe.
After a year’s hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s event successfully returned with stellar performances from artists like Ida Engberg, FJAAK, and Anna Tur. This year’s line-up promises to build on that legacy, delivering an unparalleled experience for music enthusiasts in Zürich and beyond.
