Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has unveiled the initial lineup of speakers for this year’s ADE Lab, its educational component.

Running in parallel with the festival’s music program from October 19 to 22, ADE Lab offers workshops, panel discussions, and talks. The first batch of participants includes prominent figures from the electronic music world such as Darude, DVS1, Mama Snake, Reinier Zonneveld, Héctor Oaks, and more.

Workshops on vinyl DJing will be led by Héctor Oaks and Van Anh, while DVS1 will delve into his production process during a live interview with Resident Advisor. Mama Snake will share insights on curating DJ sets, and a special mentoring program for femme, trans, and non-binary individuals will be conducted by the team behind Femme Bass Mafia.

Darude, Nostalgix, and Modular Moon are among the speakers set to engage in discussions throughout the event. Additionally, Dutch DJ duo Parallelle will present a unique installment of their ‘A Day In…’ concept.

Spanning four days, ADE Lab will feature numerous panels, workshops, and discussions, with further additions to be announced in the coming months. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore new music equipment and “creative technologies” from brands like Ableton, AIAIAI Audio, L-Acoustics, Roland, and more.

Previously, ADE had unveiled the first wave of artists slated to perform at the festival, with names like Amelie Lens, Bicep, Helena Hauff, Jayda G, LSDXOXO, Peach, and The Blessed Madonna confirmed to appear.
