Embrace Nature’s Splendor: Japanese Festival ‘Rural’ Returns to the Majestic Mountains in 2023

Naeba Greenland will come alive in July with a stellar lineup featuring artists like Sandwell District, Wata Igarashi, Terrence Dixon, and more.

Celebrating its 15th year, the renowned Japanese festival rural is set to return this summer. From July 15th to 17th, music enthusiasts will gather at Naeba Greenland in Niigata, marking a shift from its previous location at Nagano’s Sutakako Camping Ground in 2019.

The festival will feature two stages: HEXA and PENTA. Making a highly anticipated return to Japan, the legendary techno duo Sandwell District will deliver an unforgettable performance. Joining them are notable acts such as Terrence Dixon, Piezo, and Higher Intelligence Agency, all making their national debuts. The lineup also includes captivating sets by Vladimir Ivkovic, Chee Shimizu, Phew, as well as rural regulars Wata Igarashi and Solar.
