A recently launched AI music generator called Loudly has the potential to generate more than one billion unique songs. This innovative tool not only allows users to create customized soundtracks for their projects but also export them to their preferred Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
Loudly offers features such as project-specific recommendations and access to a vast library of pre-made tracks comprising over 200,000 samples. Users can tailor their compositions by choosing instruments, duration, energy levels, and genre, and even experiment with genre-blending.
Loudly’s CEO, Rory Kenny, highlights the importance of creating cohesive compositions: “A good song requires more than just well-produced samples – the composition as a whole has to make sense and take us on a journey. Our talented team of music producers apply unique genre parameters like song structures, instrumentation, energy dynamics, and mixdown so that Loudly delivers playlist-ready compositions.”
Artificial intelligence in music production remains a subject of debate, with artists like Grimes expressing concerns about its impact on education, particularly children. Grimes questions whether AI might deter incentives for traditional learning methods and emphasizes the importance of literacy skills in shaping critical thinking.
