Pioneer DJ has expanded the capabilities of its rekordbox software by incorporating GoogleDrive compatibility within its Cloud Library Sync function.
Previously, rekordbox only integrated with Dropbox for cloud storage purposes. However, this update, featured in the latest version of rekordbox for Mac/Windows (ver. 6.7.4), now enables users to upload tracks from their rekordbox libraries to GoogleDrive.
This enhancement follows Pioneer DJ’s earlier move in 2022 when they introduced version 6.6.4 of rekordbox, allowing users to analyze tracks stored in the cloud. To explore the latest rekordbox version and its features, interested individuals can access it here.
Furthermore, Pioneer DJ introduced the rekordbox iOS app (ver. 4.0) earlier this year, which is integrated with streaming services like SoundCloud and TIDAL (via separate subscriptions) and can access music stored on the user’s device.
In addition to software improvements, Pioneer DJ unveiled the all-in-one DJ system, OPUS-QUAD, and a new 4-channel controller, DJ-FLX10, earlier in the year.
