Space Ibiza Announces Opening of Space Riccione in Italy

Space Ibiza has exciting news for club enthusiasts as it reveals plans to open a new venue in Italy next year called Space Riccione.

Positioning itself as the “new generation club,” Space Riccione will feature four distinct areas: the Arena, Garden, Terrace, and Lounge. Expected to open its doors in Spring 2024, the club aims to become a hub of international club culture, hosting performances by a diverse range of acts and renowned DJs that will carry on through day and night.

The announcement was shared on Instagram by the Space team with the caption, “It’s coming,” accompanied by an Italian phrase that translates to “Freedom, transgression, love, diversity, harmony, friendship, empathy, connection, and music.”

Located in Riccione, along Italy’s Adriatic Coast near San Marino and Rimini Airport, Space Riccione is set to leave its mark. The venue already has active social media pages under the name, “Space Ibiza announces moves to Italy – becoming Space Riccione!”

Pepe Roselló, the legendary owner of the Space brand, expressed his happiness about continuing the 27-year history of Space Ibiza in Riccione, emphasizing the iconic status of the location and its association with entertainment. He assured that the core values of love for music and mutual respect, which have always been central to Space events, will also be a focal point in this new venture.

Space Ibiza shut its doors seven years ago after 27 successful years, hosting a memorable closing party featuring renowned artists such as Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Tale of Us, and Darius Syrossian. Since then, rumors about Space’s return have circulated, with the latest reports in 2021 suggesting plans for a bar, restaurant, and club night in Ibiza’s San Antonio.

The reopening of this iconic club became possible through the collaboration of ECulture, an international equity marketing and entertainment company, and the esteemed luxury dining company, Cipriani Group. Fans of the legendary Space Ibiza can now look forward to experiencing its revival in the form of Space Riccione, bringing a new chapter of electronic music and unforgettable nights to Italy.
